Silicon Nano Composites
Our Silicon Nano Composites are our latest and brand new product series – a proprietary, new material that can be used as a drop-in replacement in todays Lithium batteries.
One kilo of Cenate’s silicon-based anode material can replace 4 to 7 kilos of graphite, thereby reducing the CO2 emissions per kWh by more than 94% compared to today’s practice. Additionally, the use of Cenate’s products will increase capacity and reduce costs for electric vehicle batteries, thereby contributing to make EVs more attractive and increasing the transition speed from combustion engine vehicles to EVs.
Silicon anode batteries offer high performance capacity as compared to other conventional batteries. The replacement of graphite anode with silicon is expected to be one of the biggest trends in the global battery market.
