PRODUCT MANAGER
Cenate has until recently been testing most of its new materials at external labs. Going forward, we will move the majority of this key activity inhouse. For our new cell line at Forskningsparken, we are therefore now searching for a project manager

The position is newly established and will report to the CTO, but also be in close interaction with the sales and strategy function in the company. The work will mainly be performed at the Cenate laboratory at Oslo Science Park, near the Blindern subway station in Oslo, but also involve multiple customer visits.

Some prioritized responsibilities and working tasks will be:
  • Responsibility for developing the optimal battery cell and anode recipe for Cenate’s cell testing
  • Responsibility for Cenate’s technical collaboration with defined customers.
  • Electrode casting and cell assembly of our new materials in coin cells and small pouch cells
  • Document experiments and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Participate in interpretation of cell testing results
  • Support other laboratory tasks as needed in collaboration with the R&D team
We are looking for a candidate with the following background:
  • Strong understanding of battery cell design and electrochemical performance
  • Preferably strong experience with silicon anodes
  • Ability to perform experimental tasks with high precision and attention to detail
  • Experience with slurry production and electrochemical cell production
  • Experience with managing collaborative R&D projects, technical customer support or similar
  • Good communication in English, oral and written
Cenate AS can offer its employees:
  • To be part of a world class team for development and production of the heart of the battery
  • We have high ambitions for our work and collaborate with the world’s leading battery and anode producers
  • A committed, fun and motivated working environment, focused on accelerating the zero-emission society
  • Competitive conditions with good insurance and pension schemes

Women with relevant education and background are encouraged to apply.
