Cenate nominated for 50 m€ IPCEI support by the Norwegian government

Cenate is grateful and excited to see that the Norwegian government and State Secretary of Commerce, Jan Christian Vestre has decided to join the Important Projects of Common European Interest for the battery industry.
Norwegian government's press meeting

Cenate has been selected as one of five companies in Norway that will be invited to join. This is based on our new silicon anode materials that will make the future cars lighter, smaller and less costly. Our new material will also reduce the carbon footprint of the active anode materials by around 95% and reduce Europe’s dependency on import of critical materials.

Now we are preparing to scale. As we are working hard on all continents this week, we could only be represented at the meeting today by a video record – after about 22 minutes. With us to Berlin we will be joined by great people from Norsk HydroVianodeMorrow Batteries and Beyonder.
