Cenate wins large R&D grant for a durable Silicon anode

In competition with all other companies in Norway within renewable energy and low emission transport technologies, Cenate was this weekend awarded a 18 MNOK R&D grant to further develop its advanced Silicon anode materials.

This is a new anode material for Lithium batteries that shall make it possible for the EV battery producers to both lower cost and increase energy storage density. The material is the result of intensive research and development over several years including extensive testing with some of the world’s leading battery producers, and is still being continuously optimized and improved.

Cenate secures financing for scaling up its unique nano Silicon anode material

Norwegian CENATE AS today announced the closing of a 6 MUSD financing round. The funds shall be used for scaling up its newly developed Cenate Silicon Nano Robust material, a patent pending material that makes it possible for the EV battery producers to both lower cost and increase energy storage density. The material is the result of intensive research and development over several years including extensive testing with some of the world’s leading battery producers.
